10:00AM 4:00PM Boy Scouts Day The Children's Museum invites your kids out for Boy Scouts Day on Saturday February 9th from 10:00 am to 4:00 pm. Half price admission for boy scouts who come as a group or in uniform. Play in the indoor campsite with crafts and activities. Enjoy s'mores and hot cocoa from 11 until 1. The Children's Museum is located on West 7th Street in Bloomsburg.
10:00AM 12:00PM Trains The Free Saturday Trains Program at Christ Memorial Episcopal Church in Danville is open this Saturday from 10:00 AM to Noon. The church is located at the corner of Pine and East Market Streets in Danville.
10:00AM 12:00PM Ladies' Spring Brunch Grace Bible Church will be holding a Ladies’ Spring Brunch on Saturday March 9th from 10 AM to 12 PM. The Speaker will be Judy Batdorf and her topic will be “Reflection of a Lovely Lady – Christ Likeness”. All ladies are invited and there is no charge. 12:00PM 5:00PM Train Display The Loose Ties Model Railroad Club will open their huge display of operating trains this weekend at the Columbia Mall in Bloomsburg. The display will be open from Noon to 5:00 PM Saturday, and Noon to 4:00 PM on Sunday. They feature more than 60-trains with 10,000 feet of track.
All Day Artspace Gallery The Susquehanna River Arts group will have a show at Artspace Gallery in Bloomsburg running Thursday January 17th through Sunday February 24th. The group is made up for artists living in Columbia and Montour Counties through several different art mediums. Stop by to view their work. There will be an artist reception with light refreshments open to the public Saturday January 19th from 6:00 to 8:00 PM.
All Day National Girl and Women in Sports Day The Bloomsburg University athletic department will be hosting its second annual National Girl and Women in Sports Day on Saturday February 9th at the Nelson Field House. The day will begin with a free basketball clinic hosted by the huskies women’s basketball team starting at 10 A.M. The clinic is open to girls in elementary school up to and including high school. They’ll cover passing, dribbling, shooting, agilities, defense and rebounding. After the clinic all girl’s who take part in the clinic will get a free ticket to the Huskies game with Cheyney that starts at 1 P.M. To pre-register for the event call assistant coach Diane Decker. Walk-up registration will be accepted on the day of the event.

All Day Musicians Wanted Father’s Hope is looking for young musicians to participate in their Kickoff Fundraiser Concert that will be held on Saturday April 20th. Father’s Hope is Milton-based orphan outreach project that sends fun, comfort, and care items to orphanages around the world. The concert is designed to be a fun evening for the entire family and will feature local residents in or near their teens and 20’s sharing their musical talents with the community. All Day Beacon Lodge Camp The Pennsylvania Lions Beacon Lodge Camp is happy to announce its 2013 camping season, which opens June 1st and closes August 13th. Camp sessions are six or ten days based on eligibility criteria. This season marks the 65 consecutive years of camping. The camps mission is to provide individuals with special needs the opportunity to enjoy a camping experience encompassing recreational, educational and personal enhancement.
