10:00AM 10:30AM Storytime Storytime continues at the Bloomsburg Public Library on Wednesday January 30th. The half-hour of stories begins at 10:00 AM and ends with a coloring project. Your good listeners ages three to five are invited. You can sign-up your kids in advance at the library on Market Street in Bloomsburg. All children must be accompanied by an adult.
All Day Cell Phone Drive The Women's Center is holding a cell phone drive this Month at several local locations. You can donate any old or unwanted cell phones to be used as emergency 911 phones. Broken or outdated cellphones will be recycled through Shelter Alliance in order to benefit local domestic violence programs. Drop off your unwanted, unused, or broken cell phone at St. Luke Lutheran Church in Lightstreet, the Berwick YMCA, Grove Presbyterian Church in Danville, the Bloomsburg Public Library or the Thomas Beaver Free Library in Danville.
All Day Kidsburg Dning Club The Kidsburg 2.0 committee invites you to play it forward this month with the Kidsburg Dining Club. Dine out any Wednesday this month at Balzanos Restaurant in Bloomsburg and get a portion of your check donated to the committee’s cause…just let your server know you’re eating for Kidsburg. That’s Wednesdays this month at Balzanos. The Kidsburg 2.0 committee is working to build a new playground in Bloomsburg Town Park.
All Day Artspace Gallery The Susquehanna River Arts group will have a show at Artspace Gallery in Bloomsburg running Thursday January 17th through Sunday February 24th. The group is made up for artists living in Columbia and Montour Counties through several different art mediums. Stop by to view their work. There will be an artist reception with light refreshments open to the public Saturday January 19th from 6:00 to 8:00 PM.
