Hours are Thursday 9:00 AM to 8:00 PM, Friday 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, Saturday 8:00 AM to Noon, closed Sunday, and Monday 9:00 AM to 1:00 PM. The book sale is at the Bloomsburg Public Library on Market Street.
10:00AM 11:00AM Gospel Business Men's Fellowship The Columbia-Montour Chapter of the Full Gospel Business Men’s Fellowship International will meet on Saturday January 26th at 10:00 AM at the Spirit Life Church. Guest speaker is Apostle John Paul Peters, founder of Eagle Focus Ministries. There will be free snacks and coffee. The church is located on Old Berwick Road in Bloomsburg.
10:00AM 12:00PM Trains The Free Saturday Trains Program at Christ Memorial Episcopal Church in Danville is open this Saturday from 10:00 AM to Noon. The church is located at the corner of Pine and East Market Streets in Danville.
4:00PM 7:00PM Italian Dinner The Potts Grove Fire Hall is hosting an Italian Dinner on Saturday January 26th from 4:00 to 7:00 PM. Cost is $7.00 for you, $3.50 for your kids ages 4-12, and free for kids 3 and younger. The fire hall is located off Route 642 between Danville and Milton.
4:00PM 7:00PM Ham Supper The Benton United Methodist Church invites you for a ham supper on Saturday January 26th from 4:00 to 7:00 PM. Menu includes ham, sides, desserts, and drinks. Cost is $8.50 for you, $4.50 for kids ages 6 to 12, and free for kids five and under. Take-outs are available. The church is located on Main Street in Benton.
5:00PM 8:00PM Spaghetti Dinner Join the Millville Maniacs at a spaghetti dinner at the Millville American Legion on Saturday January 26th from 5:00 to 8:00 PM. The 12 and under baseball tournament team is raising money for a trip to play in a week-long tournament at Walt Disney World in July. Tickets will be on sale at the door and are $10 for adults, $8 for seniors, $5 for children, free for children under 2. Menu includes spaghetti, meatballs or sausage, garlic bread, salad, dessert and beverage. It’s happening at the Millville American Legion.
All Day Cell Phone Drive The Women's Center is holding a cell phone drive this Month at several local locations. You can donate any old or unwanted cell phones to be used as emergency 911 phones. Broken or outdated cellphones will be recycled through Shelter Alliance in order to benefit local domestic violence programs. Drop off your unwanted, unused, or broken cell phone at St. Luke Lutheran Church in Lightstreet, the Berwick YMCA, Grove Presbyterian Church in Danville, the Bloomsburg Public Library or the Thomas Beaver Free Library in Danville.
All Day Artspace Gallery The Susquehanna River Arts group will have a show at Artspace Gallery in Bloomsburg running Thursday January 17th through Sunday February 24th. The group is made up for artists living in Columbia and Montour Counties through several different art mediums. Stop by to view their work. There will be an artist reception with light refreshments open to the public Saturday January 19th from 6:00 to 8:00 PM.
All Day Ice Cream Pie Sale There will be an ice cream pie sale to benefit the Berwick Theatre Digital Conversion fund. Pick up is going to be Saturday January 26th. You can order your pies now online at www.berwicktheater.com or right at the Theater in Berwick.
All Day Bingo The Memorial Elementary School PTO will host a bingo and Chinese auction on Saturday January 26th at the school gym. Doors open at 11:00 AM, games start at Noon, and Chinese auction prizes will be drawn following bingo. You must be present to win. Food will be available to purchase the entire day.
All Day Big Brothers Big Sisters Big Brothers Big Sisters of The Bridge, which serves Columbia and Luzerne Counties, is looking for volunteers. There are currently 250 children on their waiting list, and you can help with just an hour or two per day. 7:00PM 11:00PM Singles Meeting Singles Singles Meeting Singles will hold its January Dance on Saturday January 26th at the Columbia Valley Moose on Route 11. The dance will be from 7:00 P.M. until 11:00 P.M. Great snacks and soda will be provided. Attire is dress casual and the event is non-smoking.
7:30PM 10:30PM As You Like It The Bloomsburg Theatre Ensemble presents an adaptation of William Shakespeare’s “As You Like It” on stage Friday January 25th and Saturday January 26th, and again Friday February 1st and Saturday February 2nd. All performances are at 7:30 PM. The show features an onstage indie-rock band who’s local teen musicians music is inspired by Shakespeare’s poetry and story.
