They’re serving up bacon, eggs, toast, French toast, ham, sausage, pancakes, coffee, juice and more. Donations this month go to Big Brothers and Sisters and the EOS Therapeutic Riding Center. The church is located on Orchard Drive in Catawissa.
8:00AM 12:00PM Trash to Treasure Yard Sale The Columbia County United Way annual Trash to Treasure yard sale is scheduled for Saturday January 19th from 9:00 AM to Noon in the Kehr Union Multicultural Center. Early bird sale is from 8:00 to 9:00 Am. Early bird tickets are $5.00, call 784-3134 to get them.
8:00AM 10:00AM Flap Jack Fundraiser Enjoy a short stack for a tall cause. It’s a flap-jack fundraiser to benefit the Bloomsburg Public Library on Saturday January 19th from 8:00 AM to 10:00 AM at the Applebees in Bloomsburg. Tickets are $6.00 for you, and $4.00 for children under 12. You can get tickets at the library…located on Market Street in Bloomsburg.
10:00AM 4:00PM Bear Day The Children's Museum invites your kids out for Bear Day on Saturday January 19th. Celebrate bears and learn about hibernation while making special crafts. Bring a teddy bear for a dollar off admission, and join them for the teddy bear picnic at noon. The Children's Museum is open from 10:00 am to 4:00 pm, and is located on West 7th Street in Bloomsburg.

All Day Cell Phone Drive The Women's Center is holding a cell phone drive this Month at several local locations. You can donate any old or unwanted cell phones to be used as emergency 911 phones. Broken or outdated cellphones will be recycled through Shelter Alliance in order to benefit local domestic violence programs. Drop off your unwanted, unused, or broken cell phone at St. Luke Lutheran Church in Lightstreet, the Berwick YMCA, Grove Presbyterian Church in Danville, the Bloomsburg Public Library or the Thomas Beaver Free Library in Danville.
All Day Artspace Gallery The Susquehanna River Arts group will have a show at Artspace Gallery in Bloomsburg running Thursday January 17th through Sunday February 24th. The group is made up for artists living in Columbia and Montour Counties through several different art mediums. Stop by to view their work. There will be an artist reception with light refreshments open to the public Saturday January 19th from 6:00 to 8:00 PM.
All Day Polar Plunge Support the Columbia Montour Chapter of Special Olympics by taking a plunge. On Saturday January 19th you can join them at the Polar Plunge in the Lehigh River in Easton. Sign up a team and be there at 9:00 AM to register. If you’re not that brave you can collect donations to support the athletes from Special Olympics who are taking the plunge. All Day Ice Cream Pie Sale There will be an ice cream pie sale to benefit the Berwick Theatre Digital Conversion fund. Pick up is going to be Saturday January 26th. You can order your pies now online at or right at the Theater in Berwick.
All Day Chicken Bar-b-que Dinner The Men of Wesley will be hosting a Chicken Bar-b-que Dinner on January 19th from 4:00 P.M. to 7:00 P.M. in the Wesley Church social room. Donations for you are $8 and $5 for children 12 and under. Proceeds will benefit the UMYF mission trip to Newfane, New York. Tickets are available in the church office.
All Day Big Brothers Big Sisters Big Brothers Big Sisters of The Bridge, which serves Columbia and Luzerne Counties, is looking for volunteers.
