3:00PM 7:00PM Haddock Fish Dinner The Montour DeLong Fairgrounds are hosting an all you can eat haddock fish dinner on Saturday November 24th from 3:00 to 7:00 PM. Cost is $12 for you, $6 for your children ages 6 to 12, younger kids and any active military people in uniform eat for free. The fairgrounds are located on Broadway Road in Danville.
5:00PM 8:00PM Open Bowling at the Moose Exchange Open Bowling will be going on at the Moose Exchange on Fridays from 5:00PM to 8:00PM, and Saturdays, 10:00AM to 2:00PM. Five dollars per person includes bowling shoes, balls, and hours of fun! Book your party or group for only $50 an hour, which includes six lanes, balls, and shoes. For more information call 317-2596.
5:00PM 9:00PM ARC Banquet The Animal Resource Center presents their 8th annual banquet and action on Saturday November 24th at Washies Fire Hall in Danville. Doors open at 5:00 PM, dinner is at 6:00 PM, and an auction will follow dinner. They have a cash bar and 50/50 raffles. A donation of $25.00 gets you in the door, and benefits the Animal Resource Center Shelter.
All Day Toys for Tots The annual Toys for Tots Campaign will run October 1st through December 22nd. Keep your eyes open for drop off boxes in our area to donate new unwrapped toys for children in need in our area to make their Christmas special. You can bring donations of toys for this year's campaign to the WHLM Studios location on East Main Street in Downtown Bloomsburg.
All Day Treefest The Bloomsburg Theatre Ensemble invites you to Treefest November 23, 24, & 25th at the Caldwell Consistory in Bloomsburg. Visit to see hundreds of trees decorated for the holiday season. There will be entertainment from local schools, dance groups and folk musicians...a craft show...and the annual gingerbread house display. If you miss it the first weekend it will be back November 30th through December 2nd.
All Day Ceramic Crock Sale The Bloomsburg Public Library is offering their first “Historic Bloomsburg” series of ceramic crocks to commemorate Bloomsburg's iconic buildings. In honor of their first release they will feature the 1925 Bloomsburg Public Library building on this year's crock. To see a sample and order your crock just stop by their location on Market Street in Bloomsburg. Orders are being accepted through the end of the year....proceeds benefit the library's programs.
All Day A Christmas Carol Bloomsburg Theatre Ensemble presents Charles Dickens' “A Christmas Carol” on stage at the Alvina Krause Theatre November 23rd through Saturday December 29th. Performances are Thursday, Friday and Saturdays at 7:30 PM and Sunday afternoons at 3:00 PM. Special holiday Matinees will be held November 24th and December 29th at 2:00 PM.
All Day Buckwheat Cakes and Sausage Supper The Unityville Community Volunteer Fire Company is serving up their 53rd annual Buckwheat Cakes and Sausage Supper Friday November 23rd through Sunday November 25th. They’re serving 24 hours round the clock starting at 6:00 AM Friday ending at 9:00 PM Sunday. The fire company is located on Route 42 in Unityville.
All Day North Pole Express Downtown Bloomsburg invites you to hop aboard the North Pole Express this Saturday and Sunday. Tickets are $10.00 each, and are available at the Chamber of Commerce in Bloomsburg.
6:30PM 7:30PM Contemporary Worship Service Elysburg Alliance Church will offer a contemporary worship service on Saturday November 24th at 6:30 PM. There will be a gift-drive this Saturday at the Jamison City Hotel in Benton from 9:00 PM to 1:00 AM. Join for karaoke and entertainment through the evening. Prizes will be give out to you if you dontate. The hotel is located on Jamison City Road in Benton.
