7:00AM 9:30AM Breakfast Mt. Zion United Methodist Church is hosting another breakfast for a donation this Saturday from 7:00 AM to 9:30 AM. They’re serving bacon, eggs, toast, French toast, ham, sausage, pancakes, coffee, juice, and more. This month’s donations go to Wesley Soup Kitchen and AGAPE. The church is located at 6 Orchard Drive in Catawissa.
9:00AM 2:00PM Winterfest 2012 St. Columba Church presents Winterfest 2012, their 8th annual craft and food festival, on Saturday November 17th from 9:00 AM to 2:00 PM. The church is located at the corner of 3rd and Iron Streets in Bloomsburg.
10:00AM 4:00PM Mission Mall and SERRV International Gift Fair First English Baptist Church will be hosting a Mission Mall and SERRV International Gift Fair, Saturday, November 17th, from 10:00AM to 4:00PM. The event will be held downstairs in the social room. Mission Mall and SERRV catalogs will be available.
10:00AM 12:00PM Saturday Trains The free Saturday Trains program at Christ Memorial Episcopal Church is open this weekend from 10:00 AM to Noon. They have dozens of trains to play with along with their “talking train.” The church is located at the corner of Pine and East Market Streets in Danville.
11:00AM 5:00PM Loose Ties Model Railroad The Loose Ties Model Railroad Club will open their huge free operating display of trains at the Columbia Mall this weekend. They have over 60 trains and 10,000 feet of track. It’s open Saturday from 11:00 am to 5:00 pm, and Sunday from Noon to 4:00 pm.
2:00PM 4:00PM Full Size Gingerbread Houses @ the Moose Exchange The Moose Exchange will host classes this fall teaching students to design, bake, build, and decorate full-sized gingerbread houses from 2:00PM to 4:00PM on Saturday’s from October 27th, to November 17th. Cost will be $65 and include icing, dough, and in class instruction. Anyone who wishes to register, please, contact Linda Hill at 380-5596.
5:00PM 8:00PM Open Bowling at the Moose Exchange Open Bowling will be going on at the Moose Exchange on Fridays from 5:00PM to 8:00PM, and Saturdays, 10:00AM to 2:00PM. Five dollars per person includes bowling shoes, balls, and hours of fun! Book your party or group for only $50 an hour, which includes six lanes, balls, and shoes. For more information call 317-2596.
All Day Toys for Tots The annual Toys for Tots Campaign will run October 1st through December 22nd. Keep your eyes open for drop off boxes in our area to donate new unwrapped toys for children in need in our area to make their Christmas special. You can bring donations of toys for this year's campaign to the WHLM Studios location on East Main Street in Downtown Bloomsburg.
All Day Ceramic Crock Sale The Bloomsburg Public Library is offering their first “Historic Bloomsburg” series of ceramic crocks to commemorate Bloomsburg's iconic buildings. In honor of their first release they will feature the 1925 Bloomsburg Public Library building on this year's crock. To see a sample and order your crock just stop by their location on Market Street in Bloomsburg. Orders are being accepted through the end of the year....proceeds benefit the library's programs.
All Day Florida Citrus Sale The Berwick Kiwanis Club is now accepting orders for their annual Florida citrus sale. Orders for seedless naval oranges and ruby red grapefruit will be taken through November 21st. Fruit will be available for pickup Saturday December 1st at the Metrocast warehouse. 7:00PM 8:00PM Hymn Sing The Mill-Green United Methodist Church will host a hymn sing on Saturday at 7:00 PM. Refreshments will follow the program. The church is located on Old Greenwood Road, about three miles out of Millville.
