5:30AM 6:50AM Open Lap Swim The Bloomsburg Middle School pool will open Wednesday September 5th for lap swim and water aerobics. Hours are Monday, Wednesday, and Friday from 5:30 AM to 6:50 AM. Cost is two dollars.
5:00PM 8:00PM Open Bowling at the Moose Exchange Open Bowling will be going on at the Moose Exchange on Fridays from 5:00PM to 8:00PM, and Saturdays, 10:00AM to 2:00PM. Five dollars per person includes bowling shoes, balls, and hours of fun! Book your party or group for only $50 an hour, which includes six lanes, balls, and shoes. For more information call 317-2596.
5:00PM 6:00PM Halloween Photos Join the Bloomsburg Public Library at Towne Camera from 5 to 7PM on October 26th, for Halloween photos. Each 5x7 photo will cost only $5, and benefits will go to the Bloomsburg Public Library, Children's Library.
5:00PM 8:30PM Downtown Bloomsburg Halloween It's a night of Halloween Fun in Downtown Bloomsburg Friday October 26th. Enjoy trick or treating at the downtown businesses with your kids from 5:00 to 7:00 PM. From 7:00 to 8:30 PM the Moose Exchange will open their doors and along with the Bloomsburg YMCA they will host an evening of events including crafts, games, Pickles the Clown, and a costume contest. Your kids must pick up five stickers during the trick or treating from businesses to be eligible for the costume contest. The Halloween events at the Moose are free for your kids ages twelve and under...tickets available at the Moose, Bloom Y, Children's Museum, and participating downtown businesses. It's going to be full night of Halloween fun in Downtown Bloomsburg Friday October 26th.
6:00PM 8:00PM Trick or Treat at the Museum The Children's Museum will host trick-or-treat at the museum on Friday October 26th from 6:00 to 8:00 pm. There's no charge to get in. Your kids will follow the clues and receive treats and prizes. Costumes are encouraged but not required. The Children's Museum is located in Bloomsburg.
All Day Art Exhibit Northern Columbia Community and Cultural Center, Benton will be hosting a new exhibit displaying the works of Rolland Ryan and Jay McHenry. The exhibit will run through October at the N4C's in Benton. For additional information please call the Center at 925-0163.
All Day Toys for Tots The annual Toys for Tots Campaign will run October 1st through December 22nd. Keep your eyes open for drop off boxes in our area to donate new unwrapped toys for children in need in our area to make their Christmas special. You can bring donations of toys for this year's campaign to the WHLM Studios location on East Main Street in Downtown Bloomsburg.
All Day Ceramic Crock Sale The Bloomsburg Public Library is offering their first “Historic Bloomsburg” series of ceramic crocks to commemorate Bloomsburg's iconic buildings. In honor of their first release they will feature the 1925 Bloomsburg Public Library building on this year's crock. To see a sample and order your crock just stop by their location on Market Street in Bloomsburg. Orders are being accepted through the end of the year....proceeds benefit the library's programs.
All Day Rummage and Bake Sale First Presbyterian Church of Bloomsburg is holding a rummage and bake sale this Friday from 9:00 AM to 1:00 PM and 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM…and on Saturday from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM. The church is located at 4th and Market Streets in Bloomsburg.
