5:30AM 6:50AM Open Lap Swim The Bloomsburg Middle School pool will open Wednesday September 5th for lap swim and water aerobics. Hours are Monday, Wednesday, and Friday from 5:30 AM to 6:50 AM. Cost is two dollars.
9:15AM 9:45AM Toddler Time The Bloomsburg Public Library hosts toddler time on Mondays throughout October at 9:15 AM. The program is for your good listeners ages 18 months to three years old. Toddler Time includes stories, songs and lots of fun. The library is on Market Street in Bloomsburg.
3:00PM 5:00PM Wheel Chair Engineers The free Wheelchair Engineers train program is open at the Columbia Mall this Monday from 3:00 to 5:00 PM. You can help improve the train layout, which is wheelchair accessible. The program is free.
5:00PM 8:00PM Open Bowling at the Moose Exchange Open Bowling will be going on at the Moose Exchange on Fridays from 5:00PM to 8:00PM, and Saturdays, 10:00AM to 2:00PM. All Day Art Exhibit Northern Columbia Community and Cultural Center, Benton will be hosting a new exhibit displaying the works of Rolland Ryan and Jay McHenry. The exhibit will run through October at the N4C's in Benton. For additional information please call the Center at 925-0163.
All Day Toys for Tots The annual Toys for Tots Campaign will run October 1st through December 22nd. Keep your eyes open for drop off boxes in our area to donate new unwrapped toys for children in need in our area to make their Christmas special. You can bring donations of toys for this year's campaign to the WHLM Studios location on East Main Street in Downtown Bloomsburg.
All Day Wheelchair Engineer Train Program The free Wheelchair Engineers Train program at Columbia Mall will be open from 3:00PM to 5:00PM Mondays with it’s wheelchair accessible model train layouts. Located at the Sears at the end of the mall, the new HO layout is now running and everyone is welcome.
All Day Ceramic Crock Sale The Bloomsburg Public Library is offering their first “Historic Bloomsburg” series of ceramic crocks to commemorate Bloomsburg's iconic buildings. In honor of their first release they will feature the 1925 Bloomsburg Public Library building on this year's crock. To see a sample and order your crock just stop by their location on Market Street in Bloomsburg. Orders are being accepted through the end of the year....proceeds benefit the library's programs.

6:00PM 9:00PM Pretty In Pink The Lightstreet Hotel will host “Pretty in Pink,” a breast cancer awareness fundraiser night on Monday October 22nd at 6:00 PM. There will be speakers, entertainment, a menu to order food from, and vendors. The event is being put on by Amanda Dunne, Kathy Brady and Joey Deihl to raise funds for the Susan G. Komen for the Cure Northeastern Pennsylvania.
