9:00AM 3:00PM Indian Artifacts The Indian Artifact Collectors Association of the Northeast invite you to their Indian Artifact Show this Saturday at the Nescopeck Township Fire Hall. They are offering free evaluation of your artifacts, opportunities to buy or sell, and demonstrations throughout the day. Hours for the show are 9:00 am to 3:00 pm this Saturday. There will be breakfast and lunch items available. The fire hall is located on Route 93 in Nescopeck.
10:00AM 4:00PM Haunted Museum The Children's Museum invites your kids to Haunted Museum Day on Saturday October 20th from 10:00 am to 4:00 pm. They have a scavenger hunt, make and take crafts, spooky science experiments, and games planned. Your kids will get a dollar off admission for wearing a costume. The Children's Museum is located in Bloomsburg.

10:00AM 12:00PM Saturday Trains Program The free Saturday Trains program will be going this Saturday and every Saturday from 10:00AM to Noon at Christ Memorial Episcopal Church at the corner of Pine and Eask Market in Danville. The free program will have free refreshments, and trains for children and adults to play with.
10:00AM 1:00PM Rabies Clinic A Rabies Clinic will be held Saturday, October 20, 2012, 10:00AM to 1:00PM at the N. Berwick Veterinary Office, at 235 W. 17th St Berwick, cost is $10 per animal, and benefits go to the Berwick Rotary Club School for Street Children in Quito, Ecuador.

5:00PM 8:00PM Open Bowling at the Moose Exchange Open Bowling will be going on at the Moose Exchange on Fridays from 5:00PM to 8:00PM, and Saturdays, 10:00AM to 2:00PM. 5:00PM 8:30PM Cemetery Tours The Berwick Historical Society will host their 2nd annual Cemetery Tour this Saturday from 5:00 to 8:30 PM. Take a guided tour of some of Berwick's past prominent citizens. Rain date is Sunday.
5:30PM 9:00PM Tournament of Bands This Saturday Bloomsburg University will host the Tournament of Bands Chapter 4 Greater Susquehanna Valley Regional Championships at Danny Hale Field at Redman Stadium. Ten local high school bands will participate in the prestigious event. Competition starts at 5:30 PM. Tickets are $8.00 for adults, $6.00 for seniors and students. There are sure to be some great performances this Saturday...all happening at Bloomsburg University's Redman Stadium.
All Day Making Strides Walk The American Cancer Society invites you to join them at two Making Strides Against Breast Cancer Events. Join them on Saturday October 20th at Indian Park in Montoursville and on Saturday October 27th at C.W. Rice Middle School in Northumberland. Both events are non-competitive walks to honor and celebrate breast cancer survivors and education at prevention and early detection. If you aren't up to walking, you can help out by volunteering at the events. For more information call the Selinsgrove ACS office at 884-1027.
All Day Saturday Trains Program The Free Saturday Trains Program at Christ Memorial Episcopal Church in Danville is open again this weekend. They now have a service to help your family during the hard economic times. When you take your kids to play with the trains you can also pick up a free one week supply of diapers. The church is located at the corner of Pine and East Market Streets in Danville.
All Day Art Exhibit Northern Columbia Community and Cultural Center, Benton will be hosting a new exhibit displaying the works of Rolland Ryan and Jay McHenry. The exhibit will run through October at the N4C's in Benton. For additional information please call the Center at 925-0163.
All Day Toys for Tots The annual Toys for Tots Campaign will run October 1st through December 22nd. Keep your eyes open for drop off boxes in our area to donate new unwrapped toys for children in need in our area to make their Christmas special. You can bring donations of toys for this year's campaign to the WHLM Studios location on East Main Street in Downtown Bloomsburg.
All Day Ceramic Crock Sale The Bloomsburg Public Library is offering their first “Historic Bloomsburg” series of ceramic crocks to commemorate Bloomsburg's iconic buildings. In honor of their first release they will feature the 1925 Bloomsburg Public Library building on this year's crock. To see a sample and order your crock just stop by their location on Market Street in Bloomsburg. Orders are being accepted through the end of the year....proceeds benefit the library's programs.

All Day Book Sale The Columbia County Traveling Library will have a book sale this Friday from Noon to 6:00 PM, and Saturday from 10:00 am to 4:00 PM. They'll have a selection of books including mysteries, thrillers, romances, Christian fiction, kid's books, and non-fiction. Prices range from twenty-five cents to three dollars. It's happening at their location on Sawmill Road off Route 487 in Scott Township. All proceeds will benefit the Columbia County Traveling Library.
