8:00AM 4:00PM Craft Fair Mountain Aviation at the Danville Airport presents their second annual craft fair from 8:00 am to 4:00 pm. Food, music, door prizes and more at this family event. The airport is located on Sunbury Road in Danville. Rain date is October 20th.
10:00AM 12:00PM Saturday Trains Program The free Saturday Trains program will be going this Saturday and every Saturday from 10:00AM to Noon at Christ Memorial Episcopal Church at the corner of Pine and Eask Market in Danville. The free program will have free refreshments, and trains for children and adults to play with.
11:00AM 5:00PM Loose Ties Model Railroad Society The Loose Ties Model Railroad Society will open its free operating display of more than 60 trains and 10,000 feet of track at the Columbia Mall on Saturday the 13th from 11:00AM to 5:00PM. Sunday the trains will be going from noon to 4:00PM.
1:00PM 9:00PM Pennsylvania State 4-H Centennial Celebration You are invited to the Pennsylvania State 4-H Centennial Celebration, Everyone is welcome to join them at the Bloomsburg Fairgrounds from 1:00PM-9:00PM on Saturday, October 13th. Their will be an afternoon carnival, alumni dinner, dancing, and a a candlelight service.
3:00PM 6:00PM Roongo's Birthday The Animal Resource Center and Bloomsburg University invite you to celebrate Roongo's 79th Birthday this Saturday at the BU Homecoming Game. Roongo is Bloomsburg University's mascot, and you can help celebrate his milestone by bringing donations of dog and cat food and toys to the game. The donations will go to the Animal Resource Center.
4:00PM 7:00PM Roast Beef Dinner The Catawissa Fire Hall will be hosting a Roast Beef Dinner to benefit the Catawissa Halloween Parade Fund on Saturday, October 13th from 4:00PM to 7:00PM. Adults will be $9, Children under 10 only $4.
5:00PM 8:00PM Open Bowling at the Moose Exchange Open Bowling will be going on at the Moose Exchange on Fridays from 5:00PM to 8:00PM, and Saturdays, 10:00AM to 2:00PM. 6:00PM 8:00PM Concert The Tommy Guns Band will be at Berwick Riverfest on Saturday October 13th playing top 40 country music at 6:00 pm. The concert will be in Test Track Riverfront Park. Remember you lawn chair or blanket to enjoy the show.
All Day Scarecrow Decorating Contest The Orangeville Public Library will hold a family scarecrow decorating contest this September and October. Scarecrow frames will be available at for pick up between September 17th to October 13th. Voting for the scarecrows begins October 15th. Prizes will be awarded. All Day Art Exhibit Northern Columbia Community and Cultural Center, Benton will be hosting a new exhibit displaying the works of Rolland Ryan and Jay McHenry. The exhibit will run through October at the N4C's in Benton. For additional information please call the Center at 925-0163.
All Day Fall Craft Festival The Oriental Lodge 460, route 487, Orangeville, PA will play host to the Fall Craft Festival. Saturday October 13th, 2012 with parking and breakfast menu starting at 7:00AM, lunch menu at 11:00AM and a Chicken Barbecue at Noon. Free Entertainment will be provided by “Touch of Brass.”
All Day Toys for Tots The annual Toys for Tots Campaign will run October 1st through December 22nd. Keep your eyes open for drop off boxes in our area to donate new unwrapped toys for children in need in our area to make their Christmas special. You can bring donations of toys for this year's campaign to the WHLM Studios location on East Main Street in Downtown Bloomsburg.
All Day Ceramic Crock Sale The Bloomsburg Public Library is offering their first “Historic Bloomsburg” series of ceramic crocks to commemorate Bloomsburg's iconic buildings. In honor of their first release they will feature the 1925 Bloomsburg Public Library building on this year's crock. To see a sample and order your crock just stop by their location on Market Street in Bloomsburg. Orders are being accepted through the end of the year....proceeds benefit the library's programs.
All Day Sullivan Fall Festival and Lumberjack Competition The 32nd Annual Sullivan County Fall Festival and Lumberjack Competition in Forksville on Saturday and Sunday the 13th and 14th. Chainsaw carving competition, live entertainment, a juried art expo, crafts, quilts, childrens activities, lumberjacks, great food and so much more. Admission is $7, children under 12 are free.

All Day Homecoming Bloomsburg Celebrates homecoming this weekend. Friday night it's the Bloomsburg High School football game against Southern Columbia, the featured game for this week's WHLM High School Game of the Week. Saturday activities start at 11:00 AM with the annual homecoming parade. Bloomsburg University continues the sporting events with men's Soccer at 2:00 PM and women's soccer at 4:30 PM. The BU Football game against East Stroudsburg kicks off at 3:30 PM. Coverage of that game starts at 1:30 PM on the WHLM Stations with the Husky Tailgate Show. Other activities include the alumni tent party Saturday afternoon at BU with a special tribute to the Alumni from noon to 2:00 pm on Classic Rock 103.5.
All Day Berwick Riverfest This weekend it's Berwick's annual Riverfest Friday through Sunday at the Test Track Park in Berwick. The weekend events include a cruise in, crafts and novelties, food, games, rides, a beer tent, and fireworks Saturday night. Music Saturday is the Tommy Guns Band and Sunday is the Battle of the Bands. Events start at noon Friday and 10:00 am on Saturday and Sunday. The Test Track Park is located behind the Kmart in Berwick.
6:30PM 9:00PM Center of Hope Harvest Ball The 2012 Center of Hope Harvest Ball will be going on Saturday, October 13th,6:30PM at Rolling Pines Golf Course in Berwick.
