8:00AM 1:00PM Blood Drive The Columbia Mall's weekly blood drive will be open Tuesday from 8:00 am to 1:00 pm. It's in the space across from the Wheelchair Engineers at the mall.
All Day Scarecrow Decorating Contest The Orangeville Public Library will hold a family scarecrow decorating contest this September and October. Scarecrow frames will be available at for pick up between September 17th to October 13th. Voting for the scarecrows begins October 15th. Prizes will be awarded. All Day Art Exhibit Northern Columbia Community and Cultural Center, Benton will be hosting a new exhibit displaying the works of Rolland Ryan and Jay McHenry. The exhibit will run through October at the N4C's in Benton. For additional information please call the Center at 925-0163.
All Day Toys for Tots The annual Toys for Tots Campaign will run October 1st through December 22nd. Keep your eyes open for drop off boxes in our area to donate new unwrapped toys for children in need in our area to make their Christmas special. You can bring donations of toys for this year's campaign to the WHLM Studios location on East Main Street in Downtown Bloomsburg.
6:00PM 7:30PM Volunteer Training The Columbia County Historical and Genealogical Society will host a training session for volunteers on Tuesday October 2nd from 6:00 to 7:30 PM. If you're interested in becoming a volunteer to help researchers in the society's library the meeting is for you. The training will be in the historical society at the library on Market Street in Bloomsburg.
6:30PM 8:00PM Socrates Cafe The Bloomsburg Public Library will host Socrates Cafe on Tuesday October 2nd at 6:30 PM. This month's issue is Voter ID and the political influence of big money and government policies. You're invited to bring your opinions and discuss the topic. The library is located on Market Street in Bloomsburg.
