1:00PM 5:00PM 100 Miles to Save Lives Columbia County Volunteers in Medicine Free Clinic in Mifflinville will be hosting “100 Miles to Save Lives” Monday, September 30th,at the Berwick High School Track from 1:00 to 5:00 PM. Volunteers are needed to come walk with us and reach the 100 mile goal. Entertainment will be provided by Mike Lewis and The Jeff Gray Band.

All Day Pennsylvania Hands The Shamokin and Coal Township Public Library presents “Pennsylvania Hands” a narrative visual celebration of the traditional crafts of Pennsylvania alive. The crafts of blacksmith, weaver, bookbinder, spinner, and more will be highlighted in the journey. The project will be on display through the month of September. The library is located in Shamokin.
All Day Scarecrow Decorating Contest The Orangeville Public Library will hold a family scarecrow decorating contest this September and October. Scarecrow frames will be available at for pick up between September 17th to October 13th. Voting for the scarecrows begins October 15th. Prizes will be awarded.
