5:30AM 6:50AM Open Lap Swim The Bloomsburg Middle School pool will open Wednesday September 5th for lap swim and water aerobics. Hours are Monday, Wednesday, and Friday from 5:30 AM to 6:50 AM. Cost is two dollars.
All Day Golf Tournament Your Loving Choices presents their Golf Fore Life Tournament on Friday September 21st. Registration is $75, and it's a 4-person scramble format. They have food, fun and prizes. For more information contact Your Loving Choices at 784-6124.
All Day Pennsylvania Hands The Shamokin and Coal Township Public Library presents “Pennsylvania Hands” a narrative visual celebration of the traditional crafts of Pennsylvania alive. The crafts of blacksmith, weaver, bookbinder, spinner, and more will be highlighted in the journey. The project will be on display through the month of September. The library is located in Shamokin.
All Day Scarecrow Decorating Contest The Orangeville Public Library will hold a family scarecrow decorating contest this September and October. Scarecrow frames will be available at for pick up between September 17th to October 13th. Voting for the scarecrows begins October 15th. Prizes will be awarded. 6:00PM 9:30PM Auction Join “Fight Childhood Cancer” for a quarter auction on Friday September 21st at the Holy Rosary Church Hall on Poplar Street in Hazleton. Doors open at 6:00 PM and the auction starts at 7:00 PM. Tickets are $10.00 at the door. You'll get two paddles, and you'll be able to win prizes worth $15 to $75 dollars for just quarters. All proceeds from this event will be used in the fight against Childhood Cancer.
6:00PM 7:00PM Fair Vespers Service The Bloomsburg Fair Vespers Service is going to be this Friday night at 6:00 PM on the free stage. The service includes music from the Vesper's Choir and a special message from Pastor Chuck Chamberlain. This year's theme is “Because He Lives.” It's the 2012 Bloomsburg Fair Vesper Service 6:00 PM on the Free Stage.
