5:30AM 6:50AM Open Lap Swim The Bloomsburg Middle School pool will open Wednesday September 5th for lap swim and water aerobics. Hours are Monday, Wednesday, and Friday from 5:30 AM to 6:50 AM. Cost is two dollars.
2:00PM 7:00PM Blood Drive Emmanuel Bible Chapel will host a blood drive on Thursday September 10th from 2:00 to 7:00 pm. The chapel is located on Kachinka Hollow Road in Berwick.
3:00PM 5:00PM Wheel Chair Engineers The free Wheelchair Engineers train program is open at the Columbia Mall this Monday from 3:00 to 5:00 PM. You can help improve the train layout, which is wheelchair accessible. The program is free.
6:00PM 8:00PM Come Knit With Me The Bloomsburg Public Library will host Come Knit With Me every Monday at 6:00 PM. The group is for both novice and experienced knitters. Work on a current project or start a new one. The library is located on Market Street in Bloomsburg.
All Day High School Reunion The Shickshinny/Garrison Memorial High School classes of 1934 to 1956 will have a reunion on Saturday October 13th at Noon at the Sweet Valley Fire Hall. If you are interested you should call 542-4788 by September 10th.
All Day Pennsylvania Hands The Shamokin and Coal Township Public Library presents “Pennsylvania Hands” a narrative visual celebration of the traditional crafts of Pennsylvania alive. The crafts of blacksmith, weaver, bookbinder, spinner, and more will be highlighted in the journey. The project will be on display through the month of September. The library is located in Shamokin.
6:00PM 7:00PM Anti-Drug Alliance The Berwick Anti-Drug Alliance will conduct a presentation on heroin addiction on Monday at the McBride Memorial Library in Berwick at 6:00 PM. A representative of the Salvation Army will lead the program “How Heroin Addiction Impacts on Our Community.” The library is located on Market Street in Berwick.
