4:00PM 6:00PM Talent Show The Northern Columbia Community and Cultural Center will hold their first annual talent show this Sunday at 4:00 PM. Price is $5 per family or $2 per person. The event showcases the talent of local residents. Homemade food will also be available. The center is located in Benton.
All Day Bingo The Espy Fire Hall will host gift card bingo on Sunday September 9th. Doors open at noon, and games begin at 1:00 pm. It's twenty games for twenty dollars...and there will be a Chinese auction, bake sale, 50/50, and food. For non-bingo players the doors will open at 4:00 pm. It's all to benefit Joseph “Buzz” Difebo who is battling cancer.

All Day Jack and Jill The Bloomsburg University Players present “Jack and Jill...A Romance” this Friday, Saturday, and Sunday at the theater lab on the BU campus. All Day Trains The Loose Ties Model Railroad Society will open their huge free operating display of trains this weekend at the Columbia mall. Saturday the display is open from 11:00 am to 5:00 pm, and Sunday the display is open from noon to 4:00 pm.
All Day Pennsylvania Hands The Shamokin and Coal Township Public Library presents “Pennsylvania Hands” a narrative visual celebration of the traditional crafts of Pennsylvania alive. The crafts of blacksmith, weaver, bookbinder, spinner, and more will be highlighted in the journey. The project will be on display through the month of September. The library is located in Shamokin.
