5:30PM 7:30PM Family Picnic The Columbia County Republican committee invites you to a summer family picnic at the Bloomsburg Fairgrounds in the Industrial building on Thursday August 16th from 5:30 to 7:30 PM. Charge is a donation of $10 per adult, free for children. It's rain or shine.
All Day ARC Yard Sale The Animal Resource Center annual long-term indoor yard sale is happening now through Saturday September 1st. The sale is going on in the building next to the cinemas on Route 11 in Bloomsburg. It's open Wednesday through Sunday 9:00 am to 4:00 pm. You can help out by dropping off your donations seven days a week or volunteering to work at the sale. To volunteer for the Animal Resource Center's yard sale call Shirley at 275-2313.
All Day Carnival The Valley Chemical annual carnival is happening August 16th, 17th, and 18th. There's live nightly entertainment, games, food and fun for your entire family. They are located behind the Locust Township Municipal Building on Route 42 in Numidia.
All Day ARC Car Wash Have you car washed and cleaned to benefit the American Red Cross this month in Bloomsburg. There will be a car wash set up in the parking lot across from Romigs on Main Street. For $15.00 they'll wash, wax, and vacuum you car...and even clean your tires. A portion of the proceeds will benefit the American Red Cross.

The event is happening Thursday August 16th from 6:00 to 7:30 PM at the Bloomsburg Public Library. Light refreshments will be served.
