||Car and Truck Show and Indoor Yard Sale
||The Columbia County Christian School Class of 2015 will host a car and truck show and indoor yard sale benefit to raise money for their mission trip on Saturday May 12th from 8:00 am to 3:00 pm. There is free admission to the event, and food will be available. It's happening at the school on Schoolhouse Road in Buckhorn.
||Indoor Yard Sale
||The Northern Columbia Community and Cultural Center invites you to their indoor yard sale, craft show, and bake sale on Saturday May 12th from 8:30 am to 4:00 pm. The N4Cs is located in Benton.
||Clothing Give Away
||Christ United Lutheran Church is hosting a clothing give-away on Saturday May 12th from 9:00 am to 1:00 pm. They'll have a special Children's Activity Center during the giveaway. The church is located in Catawissa.
||The Free Saturday Trains Program at Christ Memorial Episcopal Church in Danville will be open on Saturday from 10:00 am to noon. The display features their talking train along with dozens of trains for you and your kids to play with. The church is located at the corner of Pine and East Market Streets in Danville.
||The Loose Ties Model Railroad Society will have its huge display of over 60 trains and 10,000 feet of track open at the Columbia Mall for national train day on Saturday May 12th from 11:00 am to 5:00 pm. There will be model-train layouts and other exhibitors also set up at the mall to celebrate the 143rd anniversary of the first transcontinental American railroad.
||Antique Collectible Appraisal
||The Orangeville Public Library will host an oral antique/collectible appraisal fundraising event on Saturday May 12th from noon to 5:00 pm. You can have your items appraised by a certified appraiser and author, cost is five dollars for one item, eight dollars for two items, and for three items it's ten dollars. The library is located on Mill Street in Orangeville.
||Bloomsburg Theatre Ensemble
||The Bloomsburg Theatre Ensemble presents their latest production “In the Next Room, Or the Vibrator Play,” May 3rd through May 20th. Show times are Thursday, Friday, and Saturday nights at 7:30 and Sunday afternoons at 3:00 pm. For tickets call the Alvina Krause Theatre Box Office at 784-8181.
||The Columbia Mall will host a community day on Saturday May 12th. Local non-profit organizations will set up throughout the mall to display information on their services.
||The Thomas Beaver Free Library presents the narrative photo project “Pennsylvania Hands” during the month of May. The project is a visual celebration of individuals who keep alive the traditional crafts that built Pennsylvania's dynamically diverse culture. On Thursday May 31st artist Sally Wiener Grotta will lead a slide show discussion at the library at 6:00 pm. The library is located on Ferry Street in Danville.
||The American Red Cross will host a blood drive on Friday May 11th at the Bloomsburg Wal-Mart form 8:00 am to noon. On Saturday May 12th they'll be set up at the Columbia Mall from noon to 5:00 pm. ||The Boondocker's 4x4 tuck club Mud Bog is scheduled for Saturday May 12th rain or shine at the Summerhill Carnival Grounds in Berwick. Bring your family out for the fun that starts at noon. Food will be sold by the fire company. A five dollar parking donation will go to a charity.
||Elysburg Alliance Church will offer a contemporary worship service on Saturday May 12th at 6:30 pm. The service features contemporary christian music and a meaningful message. The church is located on Alpha Ave in Elysburg.
