All Day Bloomsburg Library Events The Bloomsburg Public Library has a lot going on in December. Every Monday they invite novice and experienced knitters to “Come Knit With Me” at 6:00 pm. Storytime runs through December 14th on Wednesdays at 10:00 am. You can also do your Christmas shopping at the library. They’re selling handmade scarves, hand-turned wooden ornaments, bottle stoppers, and brand new craft books. The library is located on Market Street in Bloomsburg.
All Day Operation Warm Operation Warm hopes you’ll join them this winter to assist families in need through the gift of a new winter coat. The groups goal is to distribute new, high quality winter coats to every child in need. For more information visit them at
6:00PM 10:00PM Berwick Boulevard Berwick Jaycees presents the annual Christmas Boulevard starting Saturday December 3rd from 6:00 to 10:00 pm. The ½ mile long car tour on Market Street in Berwick features animated characters, lights and music. The boulevard is open through January 7th.
All Day Flood Auction There will be an auction to benefit the American Red Cross Flood Relief sponsored by D. Owen Grove Auctions. All Day Quilt Raffle The Central Pennsylvania Historic Preservations are holding a Snowman Quilt Raffle. Tickets are $2.00 each or 3 for $5.00. The drawing will be January 19th, and proceeds will go to Edith’s Kitchen to help defray the costs of damage in the September flood. To purchase tickets call 356-7346 or 799-0397.
All Day Hunting Harvest Donations The Bloomsburg Food Cupboard and the Bloomsburg University SOLVE office are accepting donations of your hunting harvest this year. You can donate your harvest to help feed people in the Bloomsburg, Benton, Millville, Orangeville, and Catawissa regions. For more information contact the BU SOLVE Office at 389-5437.
