8:30AM 12:00PM Cookie Bake Shop Catawissa First United Methodist Church invites you out to their annual Christmas cookie bake shop on Saturday December 17th from 8:30 am to noon. They’ll be selling cookies for $5.00 a pound in addition to other baked goodies, homemade candy, and peanuts.
9:00AM 1:00PM Cookie Walk Trinity Reformed United Church of Christ in Bloomsburg is hosting a cookie walk on Friday December 16th from 2:00 to 6:00 pm, and Saturday December 17th from 9:00 to 1:00 pm. Cookies will be sold by the pound. The church is located at 260 East Seventh Street in Bloomsburg.
10:00AM 2:00PM Community Market The Moose Exchange in Downtown Bloomsburg will welcome back the community market starting on Saturday October 29th running every Saturday from 10:00 am to 2:00 pm through December 17th. The Moose Exchange is located at 203 West Main Street in Downtown Bloomsburg.
10:00AM 3:00PM Toy and Clothing Giveaway AGAPE will host a toy giveaway for flood survivors on Saturday December 17th from 10:00 am to 3:00 PM at the Bloomsburg Mills Warehouse location. A clothing giveaway will be held at the AGAPE Center on Saturday December 17th as well. Please bring your FEMA number.
All Day Bloomsburg Library Events The Bloomsburg Public Library has a lot going on in December. Every Monday they invite novice and experienced knitters to “Come Knit With Me” at 6:00 pm. Storytime runs through December 14th on Wednesdays at 10:00 am. You can also do your Christmas shopping at the library. They’re selling handmade scarves, hand-turned wooden ornaments, bottle stoppers, and brand new craft books. The library is located on Market Street in Bloomsburg.
All Day Train Programs Christ Memorial Episcopal Church in Danville will is hosting free Saturday train programs featuring dozens of trains for you and your children to play with. The exhibit is open Saturdays from 10:00 am to noon. The church is located at the corner of Pine and East Market Streets in Danville. The Columbia Mall hosts a wheelchair-accessible model train layout every Monday from 3:00 to 5:00 pm. Master craftsman Earl Wagner provides free instruction. Both train programs are free.

All Day Bloomsburg Theatre Ensemble Toys for Tots is in full swing in our area. You can drop off new unwrapped toys for children in the local area. Donations are being accepted now at the WHLM Studios located on Main Street in Downtown Bloomsburg.

6:00PM 10:00PM Berwick Boulevard Berwick Jaycees presents the annual Christmas Boulevard starting Saturday December 3rd from 6:00 to 10:00 pm. The ½ mile long car tour on Market Street in Berwick features animated characters, lights and music. The boulevard is open through January 7th.
All Day Christmas Tree Sale The Southside Fire Company will be selling Christmas trees in the month of December on Thursday and Fridays from 4:00 to 9:00 pm, Saturdays from 9:00 am to 9:00 pm, and Sundays from noon until 6:00 PM. They are located behind the Fire Company at 200 Avenue D in Riverside, and all proceeds benefit the fire company.
All Day Flood Auction There will be an auction to benefit the American Red Cross Flood Relief sponsored by D. Owen Grove Auctions. All Day Homemade Assorted and Welsh Cookie Sale The United Methodist Women of Wesley United Methodist Church are selling Homemade Assorted and Welsh Cookies on Saturday December 17th starting at 8:30 am at the church. The homemade assorted cookies will be $5.00 per pound, and the Welsh cookies are $5.00 per dozen. The church is located at the corner of Market and Third Streets in Bloomsburg.
All Day Quilt Raffle The Central Pennsylvania Historic Preservations are holding a Snowman Quilt Raffle. Tickets are $2.00 each or 3 for $5.00. The drawing will be January 19th, and proceeds will go to Edith’s Kitchen to help defray the costs of damage in the September flood. To purchase tickets call 356-7346 or 799-0397.
All Day Trains! It’s a train weekend. The Loose Ties model railroad society is at the Columbia Mall this weekend, and will be giving out a free train to a boy or girl. In addition the free Wheelchair Engineers train program will be open this weekend at the Columbia Mall. And finally the free Saturday Trains program at Christ Memorial Episcopal Church in Danville will be open Saturday from 10:00 am to noon.
All Day Donation Only Gift Wrapping The Animal Resource Center is once again at the Columbia Mall this holiday for free gift wrapping. They’ll be at the mall to wrap your gifts through December 24th. All of your donations will benefit the Animal Resource Center’s no kill animal shelter located in Bloomsburg.
All Day Hunting Harvest Donations The Bloomsburg Food Cupboard and the Bloomsburg University SOLVE office are accepting donations of your hunting harvest this year. 7:00PM 9:00PM Christmas Drama Sweet Valley Church of Christ invites you to a free Christmas drama on Friday December 16th and Saturday December 17th at 7:00 PM. This year’s program is called “It’s A Wonderful Carol.” The church is handicapped accessible and a nursery and refreshments will be provided.
