12:00PM 3:00PM Mission Mall St. John’s Lutheran Church will host Mission Mall on Sunday December 4th and Sunday December 11th from noon to 3:00 pm. Mission Mall is an alternative gift giving fair emphasizing the importance of not giving “stuff” as gifts, but giving to those in need, in honor of the recipient. The church is located at 5th and Race Streets in Mifflinville.
1:00PM 5:00PM German School Open House The Mifflinville Village Committee will hold their annual Christmas open house at the German School on Sunday December 11th from 1:00 to 5:00 pm. There will be light refreshments and a visit from Santa from 2:00 to 3:00 pm. The German School is located near the corner of Third and Race Streets in Mifflinville.
3:00PM 5:00PM Jubilate Choir The Jubilate Choir and Orchestra will present their 7th annual Christmas Concert on Saturday December 10th at 7:00 PM, and Sunday December 11th at 3:00 PM at St. Matthew Lutheran Church on North Market Street in Bloomsburg. The 75+ voice choir and 30-piece orchestra along with the fountain ringers will feature Christmas favorites under the direction of Alan Hack. The concert is free to the public, and donations are welcome. No tickets are necessary.
All Day Bloomsburg Library Events The Bloomsburg Public Library has a lot going on in December. Every Monday they invite novice and experienced knitters to “Come Knit With Me” at 6:00 pm. Storytime runs through December 14th on Wednesdays at 10:00 am. You can also do your Christmas shopping at the library. They’re selling handmade scarves, hand-turned wooden ornaments, bottle stoppers, and brand new craft books. The library is located on Market Street in Bloomsburg.

All Day Hand-Knit Raffle Bloomin’ Knitters are sponsoring a hand-knit raffle to support the Bloomsburg Public Library. Tickets are $3.00 for one, two for $5.00 and are available at the library. There will be three prizes winners’ choice. The drawing will he held on Thursday December 15th, you need not be present to win.

6:00PM 10:00PM Berwick Boulevard Berwick Jaycees presents the annual Christmas Boulevard starting Saturday December 3rd from 6:00 to 10:00 pm. The ½ mile long car tour on Market Street in Berwick features animated characters, lights and music. The boulevard is open through January 7th.
All Day Christmas Tree Sale The Southside Fire Company will be selling Christmas trees in the month of December on Thursday and Fridays from 4:00 to 9:00 pm, Saturdays from 9:00 am to 9:00 pm, and Sundays from noon until 6:00 PM. They are located behind the Fire Company at 200 Avenue D in Riverside, and all proceeds benefit the fire company.
All Day Flood Auction There will be an auction to benefit the American Red Cross Flood Relief sponsored by D. Owen Grove Auctions. All Day Fundraiser The Shrines Hospital for Children will host a benefit at Triumph Brewing Company in Philadelphia on Sunday December 11th at 1:00 PM during the Eagles game. Watch the game and raise money for kids.
All Day Fill the Fountain You can help fill the fountain with your change in Bloomsburg. All change donations made now through Thursday December 15th will be donated to AGAPE and the Red Cross to help local flood victims. All you have to do is drop your change right into the fountain at the Square in downtown Bloomsburg.
All Day Quilt Raffle The Central Pennsylvania Historic Preservations are holding a Snowman Quilt Raffle. Tickets are $2.00 each or 3 for $5.00. 7:00PM 8:00PM Living Christmas Tree Christian Gospel Fellowship Church presents the 15th annual Living Christmas Tree on Friday December 9th and Saturday December 10th at 7:00 PM, and Sunday December 11th at 2:00 and 7:00 PM. The presentation includes a 23 foot tree with 22 other trees decorated with lights and choreographed to music. There is no charge for the presentation.
7:00PM 8:00PM Carol Sing First United Methodist Church in Berwick invites you out to their 15th annual community carol sing on Sunday at 7:00 pm. There will be a free-will offering taken and refreshments will be served. The church is located at 200 North Market Street in Berwick.
