Columbia Montour Vo Tech Two Minute Drill Archives for 2012-10

Columbia Montour Vo Tech @ North Penn Friday October 26th

The Columbia Montour Vo Tech Rams were on the road Friday night to play at North Penn. The Rams were shut out in a 42-0 North Penn victory. Injuries have made it necessary for the Rams to use backups in a few positions on the field this season. After allowing 35 points in the first half of the game, the Rams defense was able to keep the North Penn offense to only one score in the second half of the game. Vo Tech will finish out the season Saturday afternoon at home against Pius X.

Vo-Tech @ Carson Long 10/20/12

The Vo Tech Rams were on the road this weekend to play Carson Long...and a successful road trip it was. The Rams got their first win dominating over the Warriors 48-6. Vo-Tech's Bobby Christiansen rushed for two touch downs with the other rushing points coming from Chris Zanolini and Nick Kocan. Quarterback Tristan Starr connected with Colton Appleman in the end zone. The Defense played well keeping the Warriors to only 6 points scored in the third quarter. The Rams play Friday night at North Penn.

Columbia Montour Vo Tech could not overcome Muncy Saturday afternoon. The Rams were down 34-0 by the end of the first half despite attempts by Tristian Starr to lead the team as quarterback Dylan Larkin is out due to an injury. In the second half Nick Williamposki took over at quarterback managing to get 6 points on the board, thanks to the run game by Chris Znolini. In the end the Indians came out on top 54-6. The Vo Tech Rams look ahead to their next matchup against Carson Long.

Vo-Tech suffered their closest defeat of the season this year, nearly toppling Nativity in a low scoring brawl against Nativity. Both the Rams and Nativity were searching for their first win, but a slow start that involved a slew of turnovers for Vo-Tech, hamstrung them for much of the game. Barring the turnovers, Vo-Tech was able to put together a few long drives, most of which ended without any points. The Rams will still be searching for their first win, this week against Muncy at home.

Vo-Tech was unable to build upon the success they had last week, coming up short against a 3-2 Wellsboro team. Vo-Tech moved to 0-5 on the season with their 44-6 loss. Wellsboro started quickly, scoring four times in their first five possessions. The Rams did manage one lone touchdown, but Wellsboro's overwhelming offense proved to be too much for the Rams. Vo-Tech faces off against Nativity BVM Friday night this week.
