Central Columbia Two Minute Drill: Week Seven

Central Columbia managed to get back on the winning track this week with a 14-6 victory over Central Mountain. Both defenses kept the game low scoring all game, with Central managing to get a win after a disappointing loss to Mount Carmel last week. A third quarter touchdown from Jordan Thivierge to Dylan Hine was the final score of the game, a 37 yard passing play to lock the game up. Central moves on to face Lewisburg at home next week.

Central Columbia HS Two Minue Drill: Week Six

Central Columbia struggled this week, getting handed their first loss by a dangerous Mount Carmel team looking to curb a losing streak. Mt. Carmel, missing their top rusher, turned to their Junior Quarterback Zack Wasilewski who ran for 182 yards and 3 touchdowns in their 34-14 victory over the Blue Jays. Mount Carmel’s defense who had struggled to keep points off the board, held the Central Offense to only 14 points. Central now 5-1, gets set to face Central Mountain this Friday on the road.

Central Columbia Two Minute Drill: Week Five

Central Columbia faced one of its toughest challenges this week while besting the Danville Ironmen 21-7. Jordan Thivierge was again successful in getting the ball to multiple targets for one touchdown and just shy of 200 yards to stay unbeaten so far. Turnovers were again a huge factor for Danville, seeing two drives halted by them. The 5-0 Blue Jays will travel to Mount Carmel to face a reeling Mount Carmel team on the road.
