Jeff Steeber's 12 yard touchdown run with 1:13 to play gave Berwick a 23-20 come-from-behind win over upset minded Pittston Area. Steeber's run capped a six play, 39 yard drive. He also had a 19 yard run on that drive. Steeber's heroics spoiled a great game by Pittston Area's senior wide receiver Joe Starinsky who caught seven passes for 177 yards and three touchdowns, one from Kyle Gatttso and two from James Emett. Berwick's offensive leader was running back Matt Cashman who overcame muddy conditions to run for 179 yards on 28 carries which included touchdown runs of two and 52 yards. In the process he went over 1000 yards rushing for the season. He also ran for two 2 point conversions as the Bulldogs improved to 7-1. Pittston Area fell to 3-4.
