Berwick Two Minute Drill: Week Five

With Berwick clinging to a 10-7 lead and just over two minutes to play, Bulldog junior Andrew Wenner made a diving interception of a Tyler Krebs pass at the Selinsgrove 24 yard line. Five plays later, senior Matt Cashman ran for a five yard touchdown with 7.5 seconds to play clinching a 17-7 victory. Cashman was the offensive star for the Bulldogs with 145 yards rushing on 21 carries and two touchdowns. Sophomore Olivia Seeley kicked a 27 yard field goal and two extra points to help the football team win just a few hours after she helped Berwick's soccer team to a 3-0 win over Dallas. Defensively Berwick limited the Seals to just 69 yards in total offense and picked off four passes. With the loss, Selinsgrove falls to 4-1. Berwick improves to 4-1.
